May 6, 2010
Hey. Its calving season, yay! so far we have 35 claves and one being born tonight, in the blizzard.  Poor thing.  And last  Thursday we had a baby colt, kaycee wants to name it "One heart"  because it has one heart.  Hense the name.  April was a beautiful month (weatherwise), and now we have snow.  Darn!  In April we would ride horses to go check our cows, I loved this because the last time I rode was at our old house.

Rose and Curtis Nord We love our horses. What would this world be if a horse was not around to help us settle.... now that is a question to ponder. Well we love our horses, we only have 10 we either must be nuts or we are nuts !! LOL any way Appaloosa horses are an amazing a breed. Everyone you get bred you may not get the color you are desiring. Which is because you were hoping and praying for a certin color. Life is funny. Anyway about us. We moved back to Saskatchewan this July 2009 we had lived in Alberta for 15 years. What along time to make the change and boy are we glad we did. We are Loving life and living our dream and it only gets better everyday. Curtis and Rose have been married for 13 years already and will be 14 in may 2010. I can't be more lucky that i married my best friend. Life is good. We have two awesome kids Kolton is 12 and Kaycee is 4. Kolton is involed with beef 4-h last year he won juinor reserve grand champion for showmanship beef. this surprises people as we are not in to horse 4-h. Were we had lived for 8 years had a very strong beef club. And this added to the drive to become better.
